Albino Luciani = White Light
`
``
`
White Light Dark Night
``
is the only existing biography of the 33-day Pope. It is the record of his struggles as an impoverished child, as a revolutionary priest, as an outspoken bishop, as a compassionate cardinal, and as a beloved pope.
`
It is the record of his philosophies, and of his hopes, and of his dreams,
for mankind.

Associated Press, October 4, 1978, Vatican City: The coffin, a plain pine box as reserved for paupers, was hemmed in by the princes of the Church in their rich and elegant attire . . . Cardinal Leon Joseph Suenens, Archbishop of Brussels, gave the final tribute for his dear friend.
` '
“. . . Like a shimmering white light, he rose up from the mud in the street and left no one untouched.
For those of us at the top, from heads of churches, to leaders of nations, to those of great scientific achievement, he was the Enlightener - the Imitation of the Holy Ghost.
For those of us at the bottom, from the poor, to the homeless,
to the handicapped, to the oppressed, he was the Redeemer -
the Imitation of Christ.
Above all, he was the best of men.” 8

"Vulture Stalking a Starving Child"
`
`
`
`
`
`
So you don't want to look at this child? You prefer to live in your own part of the world and ignore what goes on outside it.
`
Yet, this little girl would want you to look at her. That it would inspire you or someone else to help make this a better place into which to bring all of the world's future children. That she would not have died in vain.
`
The Vatican is the most powerful force on earth driving a rich and poor society - against a redistribution of wealth society. It does this because the Roman Catholic Church thrives on poverty because depressed people will believe most anything.
As a matter of fact, they believe this is what Christ meant by His Church.
`
`

`
`
The chalice on the left boasts 122 diamonds ranging from 3 to 27 karats. The one on the right boasts 72 diamonds ranging from 6 to 15 karats. The Vatican owns dozens of similar chalices. The 22 papal tiarras (crowns) contain over 1,700 diamonds and countless other precious gems. The trappings of the Raphael bathroom on the second floor of the papal palace where cardinals go to urinate and defecate have been appraised at over one hundred million dollars. The wine cellars at the Vatican and the Castel Gandolfo boast the finest collection of vintage wines in the world. Yet, in total, these comprise only a tiny fraction of the Vatican Treasures.
`
The Church has convinced its followers that these are Christ's treasures. It has convinced its followers that this is what Christ meant by His Church.
`
Albino Luciani didn't think so. He didn't have to believe. He knew Christ's treasure
is this little girl and millions of others like her.
`
`

`
`
When raised to the papacy, Luciani could not accept that he could partake of gourmet delicacies prepared by a world renown chef and enjoy five hundred dollar bottles of wine and be surrounded by priceless art and feather pillows while children all over the world slept on floors and starved to death.

Housing
`
`
In the Catholic world, this $3 million 'house' houses a five hundred year old arm.
`

`
`
In the Catholic world, this 'house' houses a two thousand year old foreskin,
`

`
`
Every day, Catholics line up for hours for a chance to kneel before these 'houses'.
`
`
In the Catholic world, these children have no house.
`
`
Do you really think this is what Christ meant by His Church?
`
Albino Luciani didn't think this is what Christ meant by His 'Church' at all.
``
`
`
John Paul I audience 27 Sep 78, ". . . Believe me, one day, we who live in opulence, while so many are dying because they have nothing, will have to answer to Jesus as to why we have not carried out His instruction, ‘Love thy neighbor as thyself.’ We, the clergy of the Church together with our congregations, who substitute gold and pomp and ceremony in place of Christ’s instruction, who judge our masquerade of singing His praises to be more precious than human life, will have the most to explain.”
`
`
Thank you for your interest in my work. Above all else, it was the sacred commission of Albino Luciani, given him at the age of eleven by his father, to change the Church back to what Christ had intended.
