Insofar as this investigation presents compelling evidence linking prominent men of the Church and prominent American statesmen, including a future pope and a future president, to the murders of Pope John Paul I and his allies in the Marxist movement in the western world, the reader is reminded,  it was the sworn duty of these men, imposed upon them by the principles of their faith and the laws of their nations, to head off what they saw as a dangerous slide to the left.

For those who knew him as a man, the sudden end of the youngest pope to die in four hundred years  and the only pope whose death was unwitnessed, the first thing that would come to mind...

Did his struggle for women, homosexuals and the poor cost him his life?

Albino Luciani

Witness the time as a young seminarian  he rose to the defense of his atheist father, to the time he ordered his priests to melt down their implements of idol worship to build a home for spastic children, to the time he told a reporter who questioned his order to hospitals to admit partners of homosexuals into intensive care units…

“Never be afraid to stand up for what is right, whether your adversary be your parent, your peer, your teacher, your country, or even your God.”

…to his challenge of the ban on contraception…

"We have made of sex the greatest of sins, whereas it is nothing more than human nature and not a sin at all.”

…to the time he rose up to the defense of the first artificially inseminated child when other cardinals had condemned her…

“I have sent my heartfelt congratulations to the English baby girl born of artificial means… As for her parents, we have no right to condemn them…”

…to the time he would break the chauvinistic backbone of the Holy Roman Catholic Church…

“God is our Father, more so, our Mother.

…to the time he declared on St. Peter’s Square…

“Ubi Lenin, ibi Jerusalem.”

“Where Lenin is, there is Paradise.” *

 * Aside from being the greatest champion of the poor the world has known, Lenin was first to legalize homosexuality and contraceptives and grant women both economic and matrimonial parity. Hebrew Bible: ‘Jerusalem’ is  ‘Paradise’

John Paul I

.

The author, a NATO Intelligence officer, spent much of the spring of 1968 investigating the involvement of the 33-day Pope with the Communist Party when he was a bishop in Northern Italy.

I

The election to the papacy of one of the men most responsible for the rise of the Communist Party in Italy struck a nerve of shattering proportions in CIA headquarters in McLean Virginia.

The CIA did not have to wait until he struck directly at the capitalistic tenet upon which the United States had been founded in his 4th audience,

“Private property does not constitute for anyone an absolute right. No one is justified keeping for one’s exclusive use what one does not need, while others lack necessities of life."

.In his years as a bishop, he never concealed his Marxist roots.  As the author recalls:

“I was with him in Vittorio Veneto when he was hauled into court for having built an orphanage for out-of-wedlock children with money willed by a wealthy parishioner to build a church.

.

"He took me to the orphanage with children running and shouting about its schoolyard... Pointing to the cathedral at the other end of the plaza, ‘That is not what Jesus told us to do…’ Holding out his hand to the children, ‘This is what Jesus told us to do!’’

The CIA went on 'red alert' when, in his first action as Pope, he scheduled a meeting with the Russian Archbishop, KBG undercover agent Rotov Nikodim

It would seem the CIA acted swiftly on that one...

.

Nikodim dropped dead behind closed doors in the Pope's private study after sipping coffee. Rumors spread that the coffee was intended for the Pope.

.

Karol Wojtyla and George Bush

.

.

The Polish Pope's relationship with the CIA did not begin when he moved into the papal palace in Rome in 1978. It began when he moved into the archbishop's palace in Krakow in 1964.

The archbishops of Warsaw and Krakow, on the front lines of the Cold War, had been important CIA-Intelligence contacts from the start. The reason the Polish cardinal visited CIA Director George Bush in CIA headquarters in the summer of 1976, and the reason why the Bush family has spent more time with popes than all of the presidents combined.

One might wonder how it was possible for the CIA to work independent of a sitting president. At the time the CIA was a composite of hundreds of units scattered around the globe established by directors and president to protect the United States. It was the authority of Congress not to disturb them.
.
In those days, outgoing CIA Directors had often left stay-behind units  to carry out their interests.
.
When Jimmy Carter won the election in November 1976, CIA Director George Bush set up a stay-behind unit to protect his Texas-based family's investments in Central America..

When Carter drove Somoza from Nicaragua,  Bush's 'stay-behind unit' flew planes into Managua rescuing the National Guard to Honduras to be reconstituted as the Contras to protect the interests of the Bush family and other capitalists doing business in C.A.
.
This occurred in 19179, two years before Reagan-Bush took the White House.
.
Until the republicans regained the White House in 1981,  George Bush got the  hundreds of millions of dollars  to train the Contras from the Vatican.

The Ambrosiano-Vatican Bank Scandal

...

.

Courts investigating the bank scandal determined that six days after John Paul II took office, the Vatican and Roberto Calvi of Ambrosiano started raising $1.3 billion from unsuspecting investors and routing it through the Vatican Bank (on a one-way ticket)  to CIA-owned  shells in Central America to finance Contras (when President Carter would not support them) to crush the revolution of the poor.  .

..

..

.

.

January 1981, Reagan moves into the White House

.

       Reagan/Bush take over financing Contrasas

..
March 1981, the Ambrosiano-Vatican Bank Scandal explodes in the press. The bank on the verge of collapse, Calvi is tried, convicted, out on appeal...

.

..

June 6, 1982, John Paul II receives a letter from Roberto Calvi threatening to expose his role in planing the scandal in 1978

.

June 7, 1982, Reagan, accompanied by his Contra team,  touches down in Rome unannounced.

 .

Reagan and John Paul II behind closed doors.

.

June 10, 1982, Calvi is lured to London by a CIA affiliate 'P2'  on guise of a loan to save his bank.

June 17, 1982, Roberto Calvi is found hanging under a bridge in London, and the only other person outside the Vatican who knew of the letter - the one who typed it - dead on a sidewalk beneath her fifth floor office window in Milan.

.

June 18, 1982, Giuseppe Della Cha, Ambrosiano's officer, who had worked the 'Contra' transactions with the CIA in Central America takes sick leave and disappears. Believed to be hiding out in Genoa.

..

October 1 1982, when things seemed to have settled down, Della Cha returned to Ambrosiano. Unwitnessed, police conclude he climbed out onto a fifth floor balcony and jumped to his death.

Della Cha and Calvi's secretary suicide notes...
.
Della Cha: "It is all my fault..."
.
Secretary: "It is all Calvi's fault. May he be
                             double  cursed..."
.
Police ignored the notes other than determining that the secretary's note had been typed on another typewriter and placed in her typewriter.
.
Never bothered to question  why a secretary would kill herself when a bank goes under? They just go out and get another job. Why a man returning from a long absence, kills himself in  the same way?

.
Nevertheless, the courts continued to probe the Pope's role in masterminding the scandal.

.

.

In 1984, the Polish Pope paid the courts $241 million in cash and $215 million in securities provided they don't probe furtther.

..
.

In May 2009, an Italian court acquits officers of 'P2' of the murder of Roberto Calvi on technicalities

.

.

This is what the world's leading authority on the Vatican and world politics was talking about when the courts trying the scandal released their findings in 1985…

"The failure of the United States to influence the election of a pro-American Pope upon the death of John XXIII in 1963, was a lesson not to be repeated, the consequences enormous… the price astronomical in terms of lost opportunities and deployment of policies and billions spent by the United States counteracting the subversive actions of Paul VI…

.

"Paul disseminated his anti-American principles with encyclicals condemning capitalistic tenets upon which the United States had been founded, attacking the imperialism of money and private property, claiming to give wealth and land to the poor was to give them God’s province...

“Paul’s edict Populorum Progressio - every man his share - fueling the movement toward Communism in Europe forcing American intervention in Italy where Aldo Moro’s Historic Compromise threatened to bring about a communist state… Moro kidnapped on the morning he was scheduled to place communist ministers in control of Italian Parliament…

“Paul’s influence took on horrendous roots where the poor were collectively dominant in Latin America, the stability of which was severely endangered...

“When they reached Central America, military and terrorist operations had to be undertaken by the United States to halt his revolution of the poor in a land the tenacles of American capitalism had taken hold…

“The providential death of Paul VI gave the CIA the opportunity to force election of a pro-American pope. It joined together with factions inside and outside the Vatican backing the Opus Dei candidate Polish Cardinal Wojtyla...

“When the avowed Marxist Albino Luciani was elected and he moved to support Marxist revolutionaries in Central America, it struck a nerve of shattering proportions in CIA Headquarters in McLean Virginia.

“The CIA’s stranglehold on the isthmus, already endangered by Jimmy Carter cutting off aid to ruling juntas, was about to come to an end. The United States would soon be looking at a half-dozen mini-Cuba(s) sitting in its backyard.

“The CIA joined together with rightwing factions in the Church led by the Polish cardinal in its scheme…”

Don Orione Brothers

.

The Don Orione Brothers took an oath of special allegiance to a sitting pontiff. They would do anything they were told.

Banco Ambrosiano, one of Europe’s largest banks, had branches in every city in Central America. Both its managing-director (Roberto Calvi) and vice-director (Giuseppe Della Cha) were of the Don Orione Brothers.

If the Polish cardinal moved into the papal palace, Banco Ambrosiano could raise hundreds of millions of dollars  from unsuspecting investors and route it through the Vatican Bank (by-passing the Bank of Italy) to shells owed by CIA affiliates in its Central American branches to finance the Contras when President Carter would not support them (1979-1981); Calvi raising the money in Europe and Della Cha guiding it to CIA affiliates in Central America.

We don’t know the details of that skullduggery. What we do know for certain is that six days after he took office, John Paul II started the ball rolling…
